You Can Heal Your Life…” I whispered the title of the book to myself as I flipped the pages at my local bookstore. “You Can Heal Your Life…”

That was the moment that changed everything for me.

Louise Hay’s seminal book about the connection between thoughts, emotions and the body was a revelation for me, but it also felt like the deepest truth. My soul just knew that this was truth, as if it was remembering something it learned many lifetimes ago.

It went against everything I was taught from western allopathic medicine.

You know the messages: the body has a mind of its own…you can only control it with external things like medicine and surgery…illnesses are mainly caused by genetics or physical lifestyle choices (diet and exercise)…aches and pains are mainly unrelated to each other (you go to a gynecologist to deal with a hormone imbalance and an ear, nose and throat doctor for an ear infection…aging is a bitch and there is not much you can do about it…on and on it goes.

While allopathic medicine certainly has its place and there is no diminishing that — getting surgery or medicine for acute and chronic issues is crucial — it is not the entire and full solution to health like I had been conditioned to believe. Just as taking a purely external, physical approach by exercising regularly and eating a balanced diet is essential to well-being. It doesn’t address the entire picture. It isn’t the only thing we need for great health.

You Can Heal Your Life addressed what allopathic medicine couldn’t: emotions and thoughts affect the body too and fuels the energy that makes the body function (or not). They work in tandem and aren’t exclusive to each other.

This is the foundation of energy healing!

From that point on, I set out to learn everything I could about energy healing and how my emotions affect my organs, glands, muscles, and everything else! But, a few Google searches later and I felt disheartened because I couldn’t find a resource that had a comprehensive list all of the major energy healing modalities.

So, I went on a mission!

I dug deeper online, checked out books at the library, and asked questions from local healers in town. After many years of learning, I have compiled a list of the top 50 modalities I have found.

Please keep in mind that this is not an exhaustive list of every single energy healing modality that exists; in fact, new ones are being created every single day. That’s because there as many different ways to heal and manage energy as there are people on the planet. That means that you can tune into your energy, feel into what you need, and create a brand new energy healing that no one has ever done before. The great thing is, it is completely personalized to you!

Instead, use this guide as a starting point to embark on your own journey of self-discovery, wholeness and well-being.

The Different Types of Energy Healing

I’ve organized the energy healing types into five categories:

Body/Physical

This is energy healing by working with your body or the physical first. Maybe the practitioner is aligning your spine or touching your scalp. Either way, there will be physical touch to administer the healing.

Mind

This is energy healing by focusing on your mental state first. It can clear old thought patterns that are buried in your subconscious or help you overcome limiting beliefs. Hypnotherapy is one of the most popular examples.

Spiritual

The spiritual approach will work with Spirit to heal and balance you. Just relax and allow your spirit guides to do the work for you.

Meridians

Our bodies contain meridians, or energy lines, that flow up or down. Sometimes they can get blocked through all kinds of ways — stress, emotional trauma, poor lifestyle choices, etc. Meridian focused energy healing works to release the blockages so you have more energy in your present day reality.

Vibrational

Energy healing that works through vibration will look at what your current energetic frequency is and restore your body with harmonious vibrations. Have you ever listened to a beautiful song that gave you the chills? You just felt a new vibration that raised your frequency!

It’s all Connected!

Creating these categories was actually really hard to do because energy healing doesn’t fit neatly in a little box; all of them are connected to each other. Remember the old children’s song, “The thigh bone’s connected to the hip bone. The hip bone’s connected to the backbone…?”

Well, it totally applies to energy healing too!

Whatever you do on a physical level will impact you on an energetic/emotional/spiritual/mental level and vice versa. It’s no accident that your muscles not only feel supple and relaxed after a message, but that you also feel peaceful, relaxed, and happy. It healed your energy!

Let’s say you take a Rolfing Session (a technique that manipulates your body), it can release deep-seated emotional traumas that might have happened to you when you were 6 years old, but you forgot all about it because the emotion might have been stuck in your spine.

Conversely, taking an Angel Healing session (a spiritual energy healing) might help you heal your migraines.

Of course, no healing is a guarantee, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual — just like no medicine or surgery is a guarantee — but energy healing opens up a whole new world of options and possibilities that can complement your current lifestyle.

Body/Physical

01. Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial arts form that helps with fitness and developing your Qi, or life force. Qi is the life force that makes every sentient being alive. Without Qi, there is no life. In Tai Chi, you make slow, graceful movements with your hands and legs to encourage your energy to flow easily. This life force flows through the body mending and soothing frayed nerves and organs. Health benefits include stress reduction,  improved muscular strength and flexibility, and better hand-eye coordination.

02. Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy uses the fragrance of oils extracted from natural ingredients like bark, stem and flowers via a distillation process. The result is a potent oil that contains concentrated levels of that particular plant or flower’s healing properties. When used properly, essential oils can improve immunity, balance hormones, help with skin irritations, and support the mind by improving focus, dealing with depression and reduce insomnia. A little bit goes a long way! Gently massage essential oils on the body to relax and de-stress you. Adding a few drops of oils to your bath or in a diffuser keeps your mind and body in balance and helps you to be calm and relaxed.

03. Ayurvedic Medicine
Ayurvedic medicine focuses on a holistic approach to healing the body and has been practiced in India for at least 5,000 years. It is believed that humans have 3 basic energy types called doshas: vata, pitta and kapha. Typically one of these is the most dominant and keeping it in balance is what provides good health and well-being. Ayurveda medicine does this through herbal treatments, breathing exercises, yoga, rubbing the skin with oils, detoxification and mantras.

04. Reflexology
This is one of my favorite healing techniques and I use it on myself all the time! Our feet and hands store neural pathways to all of the systems in our bodies. For instance, you can touch certain reflex points on your feet to stimulate your digestive system, balance hormones or reduce sinus issues and headaches. Most importantly, it just feels so good to do this at the end of a long day as I’m winding down for the night. Grab yourself a book and map of the reflex points in your feet/hands and treat yourself to some much needed TLC!

05. Polarity Therapy
Polarity Therapy is a unique form of energy healing because while it uses touch, it’s not designed for relaxation or realignment. Instead, it aims to bring about personal transformation by harmonizing the body. Polarity Therapy is a holistic approach that combines communication, listening, touch, nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise to create positive changes.

06. Feng Shui
Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art form that balances the energies present in the air around you. Feng Shui literally means ‘wind and water’. This harmony of the energies leads to peace of mind and helps you to lead a balanced life. Feng Shui teaches that the items in the home symbolically represent aspects in daily life. By moving certain items in your home, it can make considerable shifts in your own life and psyche. For instance, sleeping in a certain direction can support better health and shifting the furniture in your living room can help you to have more success in your career. Brendon and I hired a Feng Shui consultant when we moved to Phoenix, Arizona. She guided us on how to best arrange our furniture and decorate our apartment. After following her instructions, our place felt so harmonious!

07. Iridology
Iridology looks at the eye’s iris for strengths and weaknesses in a person’s physical, mental and emotional health. The condition of every organ in the body can be seen in the iris by looking at its patterns, color and discoloration. Although it’s not intended to replace a medical diagnosis, it can be beneficial in understanding what your body is doing on a holistic level.

08. Lymphatic Drainage
Lymph nodes are powerhouses of the body regulating fats and removing white blood cells to heal and release toxins. Since the lymphatic system is primarily made up of water, a good lymphatic massage and drainage can help to improve blood circulation and remove water retention. By applying gentle pressure on the lymph nodes, you can encourage them to release the body’s waste. Originally developed in Germany, it’s now practiced and enjoyed all over the world. It’s especially helpful in treating accumulation of water after surgery.

09. Biofeedback
Biofeedback helps a person tune into their physiological activity in order to change it to help improve performance and health. Biofeedback helps you relax and reduce your stress while gaining more control over your body. When you’re first learning how to control your body’s functions, you will use electrical sensors to learn about different things such as your heart rate or your breathing activity. Once you’re able to tune into yourself, you no longer need the sensors to help you control your body.

10. Castor Oil Packs
Castor oil has many healing properties, including relieving indigestion and constipation, improving blood circulation, healing skin rashes and wounds, and balancing the hormones. To create a castor oil pack, a flannel is soaked in the oil and placed over certain parts of the body, such as the abdomen, with a heating pad over it. Then, rest with it for a while, starting with a short 30-minute session and gradually increasing the duration in subsequent sessions. Not only is it relaxing and feels wonderful, the combination of the heat and the castor oil throws a double-punch of therapeutic benefits: reduces inflammation, constipation, arthritis, warts, fungal and bacterial infections, and so much more (too many to list here). In fact, when I was healing myself from leaky gut, this was one of the things I did to heal my gut in warp speed.

11. Smudging
Smudging is a simple space clearing technique that can help to remove negative energy from your space whether it is your home, office, car or any other place you spend time in. Smudging requires burning medicinal plants and/or herbs and allowing the fragrant smoke to permeate the space. Not only does the smoke act as a powerful antibacterial agent against airborne toxins, it also transmutes any negativity in the space, such as anger, sadness and fear. Palo santo and sage are the most commonly used plants, but you can also use cedar, frankincense, myrrh and many others.

12. Healing Touch
Healing Touch influences the energy around the body and the energy centers within the body to clear, balance, and energize the energy fields. By placing the hands on different parts on the body, the magnetic energy field around the body is able to balance itself back into equilibrium By balancing and harmonizing the energy, the body is able to heal itself.

13. The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®
The womb is the place in a woman’s body that gives birth to life. The imprints from past sexual relationships, social obligations, ancestral programming, and trauma like sexual abuse, get stored in the womb preventing the fullest expression of future relationships, creative projects and sexual experiences. Therefore, it needs to be regularly healed, cleared and revitalized to attract positivity, abundance and happiness in life. The Arvigo Technique, created by Dr. Rosita Arvigo, is an abdominal massage that clears the womb. It was inspired by her apprenticeship with Mayan healers and helps to increase circulation in the reproductive and abdominal organs.

14. Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy uses soft touch to release tension in the body by focusing on the soft tissue and central nervous system. It can be used as a preventive health technique because it boosts immunity, but it’s also great for relieving pain and improving overall health.

Mind

15. Past Life Regression
This is an amazing technique that helps people to resolve their past life traumas and start life afresh. By relaxing and quieting your mind, the therapist takes you back to your past life through hypnosis. From this deep state in the subconscious mind, you can observe past traumatic events that are still affecting you in your present day life. Once these memories are realized, they heal and no longer hold any power of you. People who have phobias, but don’t consciously remember how or what triggered it can especially benefit from past life regression.

16. Hypnosis
Another ground breaking therapy that can help people to get rid of negative thought patterns stored deep in their sub conscious mind is hypnosis. This wonderful guided relaxation technique can help people to quit smoking, lose weight, alter their errant lifestyle, save a relationship, etc. A hypnotherapist talks to you before starting the session. Slowly he or she will hypnotize you and delve deep into your subconscious mind to uproot the negativity that is bothering you. In this hypnotic state, the patient responds better to suggestions.

17. Meditation
Meditation is a simple practice that can help you relax, reduce stress and connect with yourself in a deep, meaningful way. All you need to do is to find a quiet space that is free from distractions and sit with your eyes closed for a while. Allow your thoughts to float in and out without getting attached to any of them. Concentrating on your breath or focusing on a single object like a candle can help you go deep into meditation.  There are different types of meditation and although the techniques may differ, their goal is the same – to help you relax and gain control of your life. Practiced over a period of time, meditation can help to uproot negative thoughts and make you a more positive, happy and satisfied person.

18. Visualizations + Affirmations
Visualization gives life to thoughts! When you make a movie in your mind about your future using encouraging thoughts, the energy behind it propels it into reality. Every thought that passes through your mind, knowingly or unknowingly, is an affirmation. Every single dialogue you have with yourself is an affirmation. However, when you start affirming your thoughts systematically, regularly and with a specific goal in mind, then they become your daily affirmations. Therefore, it’s best to keep a check on your thoughts. The subliminal mind does not know what is right or wrong. It just takes action upon your words, thoughts and energy. You can consciously transform the knee-jerk reactionary thoughts running through your mind into positive affirmations to achieve success in your life. You can deepen the effects of your positive visualizations and affirmations when you relax your mind and meditate because the mind is at its most impressionable in that state. With a little practice and time, you can change the pattern of your life.

19. Dreamwork
This is a technique that was founded by Montague Ullman, Stanley Krippner and Jeremy Taylor. At the core, dreamwork says that each person has their own dream language. The dreamwork practitioner studies and analyzes the dream by working backward from the conscious to the unconscious. They listen intently to the client about their dream and interpret the dream. This helps the person to sort out his/her unresolved thoughts and emotions that were triggered in the dream. Dreamwork helps people to uncover the blind spots in their lives by exposing repressed fears, worries, hopes and needs. This can bring tremendous awareness and healing!

20. Laughter Yoga
Laughter Yoga is also called Hasyayoga, and is just how it sounds: combining yoga with laughter. In this case, laughter is used as a form of exercise to help strengthen the immune system, increase the amount of oxygen in the brain and body, and to create positive feelings.

21. Binaural Beats
Binaural Beats is known as brainwave entertainment where different sounds are used to balance the left and right hemisphere of the brain. As a result, the brain can easily achieve the different brain states: Gamma, Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta. From these different states, you can more easily learn new things, ask your body to heal itself, instill new thought patterns and beliefs, and induce sleep and relaxation.  From this discovery, people have created meditations and soundtracks that can help you with all kinds of different goals, including losing weight, gaining confidence, releasing anger and attracting more prosperity and love.

22. NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
NLP, or Neuro-Linguistic Programming, uses neurology, language, and programming components to create change. It’s thought of as a sort of reprogramming or rewiring the brain to get rid of anything unwanted such as negative thought patterns or habits. In layman’s terms, Neuro-Linguistic Programming is like a user’s manual for the brain and helps you to speak the same language so that you can have it do exactly what you want it to!

Enneagram is similar to taking a personality test as it helps you understand yourself better and what truly motivates you. Taking the test can reveal your strengths and weaknesses while helping you overcome challenges and maximize your self-awareness. You’re asked various questions and your answers are analyzed by a skilled teacher or counselor who can interpret your personality and give you suggestions on where you need to make changes.

24. The Work by Byron Katie
The Work by Byron Katie is a deep self-exploration that helps you identify and question your suffering. The process helps you understand what’s causing your pain and helps you turn it around to resolve your problems. The process is based on four key questions and then a turnaround that helps you experience the opposite of the original thought.

25. Angel Healing
Angel Healing invokes the archangels to facilitate spiritual and energetic healing. This can be done with the use of both angel oracle cards and/or with hands-on-healing. While Archangel Raphael is the most commonly used (his name in Hebrew means ‘healing doctor’), there are 7 archangels who can be called upon and are happy to help. Angel healing cleanses, clears away blockages in the energy system and re-energizes you. The therapist connects with the angels to help you resolve problems plaguing your life, chronic issues and to resolve karma. You might feel a cool, warm or tingling sensation during the session. People tend to leave sessions feeling a sense of freedom, balance and peace.

26. Reiki
Reiki is a cornerstone of energy healing that was perfected in Japan in the 1800’s. By invoking energetic symbols, universal energy is channeled by means of gentle touch to activate the natural healing processes of the body and restore physical and emotional well-being. While you rest on the massage table, the practitioner will gently place their hands on or above the areas of your body that are blocked and are calling for more light. People report feeling calm, balanced, lighter and full of love after a session.

27. Shamanism + Indigenous Healing
Shamanism and Indigenous Healing were used by the Native American Indians, to Australian Aborigines, Tibetan and Celtic Mysticism to name but a few. These methods are still used today. Shamanism is considered a spiritual practice, not to be confused with religion, that promotes health and well-being by connecting with nature. Some Shamanic and Indigenous healing techniques include transpersonal dream work, meditation, rites of passage, pilgrimages to sacred places and medicinal herbs.

28. Spiritual Coaching
A spiritual coach is a person who, through their intuition and counseling skills, works at a deeper level to change the way you operate by probing your life habits, behaviors and goals. This is not traditional talk therapy. A spiritual coach can sense the life lessons behind the patterns in your life and guide you on how to overcome them. They also help you to connect with your inner self and the divine within. This connection with the divine gives you inner peace, consciousness, abundant energy and joy. You realize the truth of life and you’re at peace with the world around you. This leads to liberation in the truest sense.

29. Akashic Record Healing
Akashic Records is a spiritual place that holds the records of all sentient beings and every life they have ever lived. Ancestral Healing is a form of healing that’s not conducted on you, the client, but instead on your ancestors. It can help heal any unresolved trauma, problems, or emotional issues in the family line. This is helpful because those past energetic patterns may be negatively impacting your life today. Ancestral healing holds the belief that energy isn’t lost, so any negative energy in your ancestors’ lives hovers over your own personal energy field.

32. Intuitive Healing
All of us have intuition. It’s that gut feeling about something or someone. It’s knowing when someone is going to call before they actually do. These sensations help us make decisions in life and intuitive healers are no different. They rely on more than just the five senses to remove energy blockages from the body that might be wreaking havoc on a person’s health. The practitioner visualizes the blockage and also sees it breaking down into pieces thereby allowing light to enter the client’s life. Chakra healing, spiritual healing and distance healing are some examples of intuitive healing.

Meridians

33. Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient healing practice that has been in vogue for a few centuries in the Eastern world. The practice involves thin, sterile needles being inserted into pressure points in the body helping the energy/Qi to get released. The acupuncture points are along the meridian lines in the body. This helps to relieve pain and balance the yin and yang energy in the body. There are numerous health benefits, including helping with back pain, headaches, infertility, acne and digestive issues.

34. Acupressure
This is derived from acupuncture. This is also an alternative healing therapy where hands, elbows and various devices are used to heal aches and pains. Physical pressure is applied to the reflex points that stimulate the area (where the pressure is applied) enabling a free flow of energy. It also aids in proper blood circulation to all parts of the body. This helps in sexual fertility, getting rid of aches and pains as well as emotional stress.

35. Thymus Thumping
The thymus is a gland that lies in the middle of your chest just beneath the breast bone. It plays the role of producing white blood cells and keeping your life throbbing with vibrant energy. On an energetic level, it’s the place that holds our life purpose. When this gland is blocked by negative thoughts, one can feel listless and low on energy. Children naturally have a large and vibrant thymus, but it’s not uncommon for adults to have a smaller, weakened thymus. Simply stimulate the thymus gland by tapping on it daily for 10-20 seconds. After thumping, you’ll feel a tingling sensation in your chest. You may also feel happy and more energized. You can either use your fist to thump or four fingers to rub softly. Those suffering from anxiety, depression, panic attacks and stress can feel relief with thymus thumping.

36. Moxibustion
Moxibustion is an ancient Chinese practice that helps to regulate the flow of qi/energy in the body. An herb called “Moxa” (also known as mugwort) is used in a stick by burning and placing it near different pressure points on the body. The herb is compacted into a stick or shaped like a cigarette so that it burns easily. The heated/flaming stick is placed a few inches above the skin till the area reddens and becomes warm. The heat near the skin helps to release the blocked energy and encourages it to flow freely throughout the body. The Chinese use the dry herb to regulate energy. They can sometimes insert acupuncture needles in pressure points and stick the herb on top of it for extra impact.

37. Qigong
Qigong or Chi Gung is an energy exercise that originated in China. It uses the mind to direct the Qi, or life force, in the body. These dynamic exercises and meditative practices help to balance the energy within the body and also enlighten your mind. It’s a unique spiritual experience that consists of both yin and yang aspects. Exercises involve gentle and graceful movements and focus to strengthen the immune system. It is effective in a myriad of health issues, but it also is a fantastic way to calm your mind and quench your soul.

38. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
EFT is a form of psychological therapy where counseling is used along with neuro-linguistic programming, thought field therapy and energy medicine. A person can release a trapped emotion or stubborn thought by tapping along the meridians while repeating statements regarding the issue. It helps to release pent up emotions and aids free flow of energy enabling the body to maintain balance. This works in tandem at the physical, mental and emotional level to heal emotional stress, traumatic experiences and suppressed feelings.

39. The Healing Code
The Healing Code is a revolutionary book by Dr. Alex Loyd and a powerful energy medicine that has self-healing properties. Dr. Alex Loyd discovered this amazing system by trial and error with his wife who was suffering from severe depression. By placing special hand positions over energy points on her the body, she was able to release blockages and negativity. He also used it on his cancer inflicted patients who also saw positive results. It is believed that false cellular energies are the root cause of all diseases. The Healing Codes introduces positive energy on the face and neck over strategic meridian points to neutralize the negative forces. The positive energy then uproots the negative thoughts from the conscious and subconscious levels. I have personally used them during some emotional times and I can attest that it worked really well for me. I found great relief!

40. Jin Shin Jyutsu
Master Jiro Murai in Japan re-discovered this ancient healing practice more as a philosophy of life. This is based on the theory that our thoughts play a part on the body cells and when there is negativity in our thoughts it blocks the pathways and obstructs the flow of energy. This practice is akin to acupressure. There are 26 pressure points in the hands that need to be energized through mudras/hand gestures. By gently holding any of these spots, you can remove blocks and stagnate energy. You can actually do it yourself. Each mudra is associated with different ailments like anxiety, stress, aches and pain to get re-energized and feel rejuvenated.

Vibrational

41. Vibrational Medicine 
In essence, all creatures are made up of cells vibrating at a certain frequency. Every thought and emotion we have can be measured as a frequency. As a result, vibrational medicine facilitates healing by introducing a new, healthier frequency to offset the negative vibration. One of the easiest ways to introduce positive vibrations is through color, sound or the elements. Walking barefoot on the earth or carrying a rose quartz crystal can raise your vibration. Chanting mantras and playing a singing bowl can also introduce more positive vibes in your energy field. One of my favorite healing practitioners I’ve ever worked with was a Vibrational Medicine Consultant in Scotland. After consulting with me, she would put a vial of carrier oils in a vibrational machine that would calibrate it to the healing frequency that my body needed. Then, I’d apply that oil to acupressure points on my body until the vial ran out. I had many healing breakthroughs with this modality!

42. Vibrational Essences
In the late 1920’s, Dr. Bach found that the essence from flowers has healing properties and can be preserved in water or brandy. This solution can be taken internally — a few drops under the tongue — and it floods the body with the healing properties of the plant or flower. Since then, people have used those same techniques to preserve the healing properties of many more elements and energies: crystals, sacred animals, gemstones, and the earth elements. This is a safe, natural and holistic therapy that can help people reduce stress, tension, anxiety, shock, fear, envy, hatred and many other emotional upheavals.

43. Dowsing/Pendulums
Dowsing is done with the help of a pendulum or dowsing rods. A pendulum is typically made with a crystal that is attached to a chain and dowsing rods can be made with 2 wooden sticks or metal rods. Just as radios pick up frequencies, dowsing picks up energies and frequencies from people, nature and objects. You can use a pendulum to see if your chakras are open or closed. You can ask yourself a question on an issue and dowse for the answer. You can also use divining rods to check for lay lines near your home. This helps to locate areas that affect health and your energies.

44. Crystal Healing
After thousands of years of growth and refinement, crystals are some of the highest frequency beings and teachers the planet has. What a great analogy for life: they spend a millennial growing in the darkest, muddiest of caves to thrive as luminescent beauties in all shapes and colors. They are Earth’s jewelry! You can use that to your advantage by laying crystal grids on strategic energetic points on your body. Their high frequencies can balance emotional issues, physical pain, and chakras and build a bridge to your spirit guides. Don’t be surprised if you feel soft pulsing and receive intuitive messages as the high frequency calibrates your energy field into alignment.

45. Gem & Crystal Elixirs
Gem and crystal elixirs is a form of crystal healing that goes even deeper than placing crystals on the body. They are liquid preparations that you can easily make at home and then ingest with a clear intention on the qualities you want to heal and develop within yourself. While it’s best that you follow a proper elixir recipe as not all crystals should be soaked in water, the basic process is to simply select the crystal(s) and its healing properties that resonate with you (i.e., rose quartz for self-love; citrine for abundance, amethyst for spirituality; etc.). Then, clear it of any old energies it might’ve stored by running it under clean water or placing it in the earth or in a bowl of natural, unprocessed salt.  Next, place it in a bowl or pitcher of spring water and let it sit under the sun or moonlight for several hours. Once that’s done, remove the crystal(s) and drink the water with your intention in mind. I’ve done this many times and love the gentle, yet profound way the crystal vibrations infuse my body, heart and mind.

46. Crystal Beds
Crystal beds are advanced chromo therapy machines that have clear quartz crystals hanging over each chakra. Within each crystal is a colored light to represent the corresponding chakra below it. So, the quartz crystal above the root chakra has a red light shining through it; the sacral chakra has a quartz with an orange light, and so on. The frequencies in the colored lights and crystals help to balance the chakras present in your body.

47. Sound Healing
Using sound vibrations can change the state of the mind from a conscious waking state to a deep and relaxed state. Once the mind is out of the way, the body can rejuvenate itself and it’s much easier to go into deeper meditative states. In fact, it’s said that a sound healing session is the equivalent of a deep REM sleep!  Tibetan singing bowls and crystal singing bowls are the most popular tools used in sound healing, but tuning forks, singing, and chanting can also be used. These tools can even be placed on parts of the body where the energies are blocked.

48. EMF Balancing Technique®
EMF was developed by Peggy Phoenix Dubro and it’s a technique that balances the body’s many energetic systems, including the electromagnetic field. When blocked energies are released, you have more power to create the life you really want. Each session is comprised of a phase. For example, in phase one, you learn about the structure of your energy field and learn to release stress. Phase two gracefully helps you to put your past behind you and release past hurts. 49. Chakra Healing
Chakras are energetic points that are present in our body. There are seven chakras and each chakra is associated to a particular body part. There are 7 chakras positioned in a line from the pelvic area up to the head. When all the seven chakras are aligned a person feels happy, satisfied and empowered in their life. Even if one chakra is blocked by negative energy or too open, then you can feel aches and pains in that particular area or have emotional issues. Aligning chakras is the aim of chakra healing. Using sound healing, color therapy and meditation, the chakras can be healed and balanced.

50. HeartMath
HeartMath uses technology to improve your mental and emotional wellbeing in just about 6-9 weeks of practicing the technique. You can use any of their products — smartphone app, small monitoring device, computer software, etc. — to monitor how your emotions are affecting your heart rate, stress levels and other physiological responses. These tools analyze your data to promote short deep breathing techniques and biofeedback visuals so that you can bring yourself back into a state of equilibrium. It improves your ability to focus, sleep deeply, remain calm, and reduce exhaustion, tension and depression.
